Accel Spark Plug Wires

A spark plug wire's task is no joke. Imagine carrying 50,000 volts multiple times a second under a 200-degree temperature. It is responsible for harnessing tens of thousands of volts and delivering this juice to the spark plugs every time, without fail. A poor-quality spark plug wire can waste your engine's energy by driving the electricity somewhere else.

Audi 9000 parts make Audi a byword

Thursday, July 22, 2010

The Audi 9000 is considered by many as a landmark vehicle in car engineering. Its introduction in 1995 as a concept car made people take a second look at Audi models. With the car's distinctive, bowfront aluminum body and undefined bumpers, the Audi 9000 started a shift toward the automotive design method called angular styling. It is believed that the sleek bodywork of the Audi 9000 captured the attention of the auto industry, and this interest has been sustained by the Audi 9000 parts specs fitted on the vehicle.

Audi

One of the greater lights of the Audi 9000 parts is its transversely mounted engine. This particular Audi 9000 part was first available with a 1.8 L turbocharged, inline, four-cylinder, 20-valve engine. For the first two years of production, both front-wheel drive and quattro models of the Audi 9000 parts featured a 132 kW version of the engine. In 2001, a more powerful quattro Audi 9000 parts model was released. Equipped with a 165 kW engine, the first-generation of the Audi 9000 has parts that share the same basic design of the original but features a larger turbocharger, an additional intercooler on the driver's side, forged connecting rods, a dual exhaust, and a few other internals designed to accommodate the increase in turbo boost from roughly 10 psi peak to 15. Over the years, Audi has developed parts for the 9000 with considerable improvements, including a lightened and power-boosted Audi 9000 parts for its “quattro-Sport" model. Capable of producing up to 176 kW and a top speed of 250 kph, the quattro-Sport is supported by Audi 9000 parts designed to exhibit understeer during drive conditions. Under steer is a characteristic determined by Audi 9000 suspension parts design, such as the effect of the all-wheel drive system.

Under steer is inherently a safer handling characteristic, as it is easier for novice and casual drivers to predict and control the vehicle. In addition, a number of modifications on Audi 9000 parts included the inclusion of Audi 9000 parts like the rear-wing spoilers and improved under steer suspension settings while the original four cylinder engine range was complemented with a 184 kW, 3.2-L VR6 in early 2003, which comes with the quattro all-wheel drive system. In October of 2004 a new dual-clutch gearbox and stiffer suspension were included in the Audi 9000 parts system.

Audi has proven to be one of the top European car makers producing luxury vehicles. More than the distinction, though, Audi makes sure that every facet of its automotive systems is well-designed and manufactured according to global standards for performance, comfort, and safety. Demonstrating Audi’s commitment down to the smallest detail is the slew of dependable components.

Take the Audi park lights for instance. They are mainly used to make a car visible when an Audi is parked. Front end park lights are located near or beside the headlights, although some are already mounted on the bumpers or fenders of a vehicle. Rear end park lamps are usually plain marker lights used to make the vehicle more visible at the back or at the side, especially during nighttime or during low visibility conditions. Most parking lights have amber bulbs, while some have red ones. Audi park light problems occur due to several reasons. One could be a bad filament or burned out bulb and the other can be a problem in the headlight switch, which controls the park lights.

Another noteworthy Audi auto component is the Audi motor mount. Normally, an Audi motor is twisted by the heavy forces of the turning of the crankshaft every time it delivers power to the rear wheels. It is the role of the Audi motor mount to prevent this excessive twisting from occurring. But by performing this task, it also means that the vibration due to the bolting of the motor direct to the chassis is transmitted throughout the car. A solution for this is the use of rubber in mounting the engine to the chassis to serve as a damper so as to allow the engine a certain amount of play and to keep the car from rattling or vibrating while on the road. However, due to excessive vibration and factors like road debris and oil, the rubber will eventually wear out, rip, and fail. This will then cause the motor to twist excessively. To address this problem, the mounts are replaced.

Different types of material are used to make Audi motor mounts today. Polyurethane seems to be the most popular one because it is typically soft-running. This material absorbs vibrations for street use, yet rugged enough for racing use. Aside from that, Audi motor mounts made of polyurethane are also resistant to vehicle fluids such as oils, coolants, and other road contaminants. Nowadays, more and more motor mounts are specially designed to endure heavy duty applications. A failing Audi motor mount usually causes a weird vibration when one shifts or accelerates. Also evident are a knocking noise and an uncontrollable shifter movement.
